I read on http://www.conrod.com.au/forums/forums.cgi?forum=1 that the Prodrive deal for the V8's next season is dead because Prodrive or Forbes is asking for more money from Ford and that Geoff Polites can't justify it.
There was an interview with David Richards (Prodrive boss) on RPM a couple of weeks ago and he confirmed that they will buy out a team next season so unless the guy from Conrod.com.au who is a Holden supporter is talking shit which i think he is then it's full steam ahead for a Prodrive backed ream .
Plenty of other Ford teams to choose from if Forbes won't come to the party. SBR would be a good one. Incidently, is Lowndes contracted to 00 Motorsport or just to Ford? If it was just to Ford then Craig could be part of this Prodrive team.
