There's a story in Auto Action that Dave Richards from Prodrive will give assistance to FTR. Seton said that they have had talks and is looking forward to accessing Prodrive's database of chassis and engine info.
I was actually going to post this info on the main page as there are some very important things to come out of that article.
One David Richards couldn't understand why The FTR cars weren't at the front of the Ford push but then declinded to comment on why this would be the case.
Second was that Seton himself never met David while he was here and that he appeared to not know too much about the prodrive operation apart from a few mindless facts
Cool, this is great news. I saw the front page of AA in the newsagents but didnt have time to read the article. Did they mention what sort of help will be provided, and when??
That's good to here. The way things are travelling at the moment for FTR, they need all the assistance they can get. Being THE factory team as such, we would all like to see them more up the front of the pack, taking on the HRT cars.
Russell.

Suspension and engine maybe. The big thing for me to come out of the Article was that David could understand the FTR performance and reading between the line Fords lack of technical suppport and the fact that Glenn hadn't been introduced to Mr Richards
I must coinfess to being a little confused as to how quickly Prodrive's influence will pay-off. Not really sure but they don't appear to have alot of experience with the local flavour of racing, so any improvement is likely to be gradual rather than overnight but at least they have the runs on the board in several catagories, so it should happen eventually!
