I understand that the track itself in terms of surface and layout is good enough on both the tracks you mentioned but there are little or no off track facilities like pits, media rooms, crowd infrasturcture etc.

That is why there are no V8's in Tas and and there was a questionmark over Barbagello until 600,000 was spent on it.

I have heard a rumour that Konica may be going to TAS though.

I think Sandown is the best track for the V8s. Eventhough its the only one i've been to, I think it has great facilities, such as the grand stand and you can see most of the track from there.

The bathurst pit straight may need some straightening if you know what I mean (Castrol Commode 2001)

Definately needs to be a shite load of money spent at Bathurst, the facilities aren't getting any better. Was at the Ford Racing corporate box at the year 2000 meet and it pissed down rain all weekend and the whole pit area turned into a mush pit. Definately a case in point for some government funding! :fmad:
