Still, congrats to them...while it might make for a dull series, they've really done their homework and have the results to show for it. Let's see how they go in races 2 and 3.

Impressive stuff from TWR there. Just hope the charging up the field continues from the Ford boys.

I second that, theres no use in complainingwhen theres still two races to go (this isnt aimed at anyone). so ill just sit back and wait to see the telecast and results tomorrow.

Dissapointed with fords efforts today at barbagello (sat), Especially DJR, who's cars where on the L A S T two rows? Race one was very exciting. Lowndes started from 18th or 17th i think, next to tony longhurst, everyone pitted early and lowndes stayed a little longer. WHen he pitted and rejoined, everyone realised what a good race car he had. Lowndes managed to grab 5th position. Kelly was lucky lowndes didnt have a few more laps :)

When you know the race results already (1st skaife), you start to realise the great battles in the rest of the pack. One particular one was Kelly jnr, Max Wilson, Steven Richards, Tony Longhurst, John Bowe and Garth Tander! Very exciting.

Lets all hope lowndes, the first ford, can get a good start from 5th, finish race two with a win hopefully and race three a win too!

Good drive from Lowndes & Ambrose. Here's hoping for the rest of the weekend.

It annoys me that Race 1 is not televised. Channel 10 could easily have found time if we didn't have to see Daryl Beattie testing Paul Morris' car and other crap. Save that for another day when there isn't a V8 round.
