Russel has found out all the secrets of starting a BA Falcon quickly, he was very fast on both starts but on the second race he had nowhere to go. on the TV he said that he has been practicing alot in the offseason in his FPV GT, and its paid off. do you think he will be starting in the enduros instead of Ambrose
the speed which the car gets off the line wouldnt be as important in an enduro i'd imagine, considering the sheer length of the race. the first race at the clipsal 500 showed him get an extremely good start, however depends on how his car is at any given race, that headstart could be eaten away in only a few laps
still it is a great way of gaining a few easy spots if you qualify poorly or want to get to turn 1 first. Perhaps Jaguar should ask him how he does it.....

not really sure about how much practising in his GT actually helped him cos there are just sooooo many differences, but hey it was good advertising for FPV him saying that!
his starts were amazing, particularly in the first race, that was an absolute blinder! and as a lot of these races are won and lost off the start thats a great skill to have.
Not sure about the enduro's, i think its way to early to discuss driver line up, let alone who would be starting out of the two...

Originally I thought that he jumped the start because of the margin that he pulled. But watching the replay, he just got everything right!! Good on him...
Well as for him starting 1st in an enduro, maybe he should, then we would'nt have to see the car in a sand pit, I'm sure Marcus know's to pump the brake pedal a few time's when getting into the car for the 2nd stint,HaHaHa, but seriously now Rusty did extreamly good in both races when talking about his start's, hopefully Ambrose can learn a few thing's from him, to make this team even stronger than they allready are.
