Last night on Rove Live in the VB Challenge. Skaife could not help himself and let out a snide remark "That's the only race you've won all year" to Johnson.
I respect Skaife for being a great driver and HRT for having their act together and winning races all the time (although being a Ford fan I would naturally prefer the Fords to win) but I am finding it increasingly difficult to keep this respect when Skaife comes out with comments like this. You only have to watch an episode of V8 Superstars where he talks over everybody and has sarcastic digs all the time. It's very boring Mark, get over yourself. You never see other V8 greats such as Lowndes or Brock carry on like this.

damn missed it. and to skaife GET OVER YOURSELF if you were in a different car you wouldnt be winning IMO. good to see him get beten at somthing eventhough i didnt see it.lol

Yep more and more Skaifey is demonstrating that he believes he is a legend (IMO in his own lunch box).

every time i see the vb challenge johnson always wins. ive yet to see skaife win. coinedance........ maybe or just lucky

I thought it was just good old Aussie humour to be honest. Nothing like a bit of a piss take for a laugh. I think you fellas are reading way too much into Skaifey on this one.. sorry..

Its just not this one FM, its continual and even though it is said with a smile, or wink wink, nudge nudge, its beginning to border on arrogance imo evidenced by the fact that he has to have the last word.

Anyone remember where Skaife used to finish in that white unsponsored Commodore the year after Gibson lost the Winfield money - no me either. Back in the middle of the pack with everyone else when the machinery wasn't the difference.

When Skaife and Lowndes were both in HRT who won all the championships?

Everytime i watch the VB challenge the Ford always wins.
It just shows that the Ford drivers have more skill that what Skaife has when put in a similar car.
Johnson's XR8 sounded horny.

Does anyone know what mods the XR8 has?

Every time in the BV Challenge the falcons seem to win.
I've only seen 6 I think and only once (Bright) the Falcon has lost.

Also about Skaife. I don't mind him. I find him funny and entertaining on V8 Superstars. But that comment to Johnson was a bit arrogant.

I think the XR8 wins because the Windsor has superior torque down low.

And the Crummydore sounds sooo crook bouncing off the rev limiter!
