Another pole for Skaife, when is anyone going to upstage him this is becoming a joke.
Lets hope Max Wilson can show those red cars a thing or 2.
I can't see how Max can be so quick though it is his first year and he is upstaging most of the other ford teams in qualyifing pace, if only he could finnish the race

Agreed mate, not a very funny one for us Ford fans (or other Holden fans either for that matter).

At best he'll probably just crash into them.

Very surprising. The last few words you posted apply to most of the Ford teams.

Craig Lowndes had an off during qualifying, but he says it saved any damage to the tyres. “Strategy is going to be a huge part of it. The third race tomorrow we will be dealing with a whole heap of black crap. This track is very tough on tyres.
Lets hope Lowndes can jump the order.

The Rat may be in 30th but his time was only 0.7 off the pace in the qualifying - what we are going to have is 32 cars with pretty even performance around a track that is hard to pass and even harder on tyres.
Guess the TWR cars have the package, even though the K-Mart cars use different suspension philosphies to HRT etc, I guess the engineering backup is there.
The TWR setup is what Ford should be trying to emulate with ProDrive. It obviously works for them, time to make it work for Ford.
