CAT Falcon driver Simon Wills was sacked from Briggs Motorsport this afternoon. He won't be driving for the team again this season.
Dale Brede who contested the Konica series this season in the Gulf Western Falcon is the favourite to take his seat.

Next year Simon Wills is set to join a new level 2 Holden team called Birrana Racing who he drove for in last years Konica Championship.

Couldn't Briggs wait till after Bathurst this time? He must be kicking himself now for dropping JB for Wills - the CAT car's only gone backwards since.

In my opinion i think it would be wasting valuable energy if they put the Rat or Ingall into Cat racing.. that team really hasn't achieved much at all... sorry just my 2c

I think the only reason they haven't achived anything is because the management are too impatient. It looks to me that they want to win instantly and because it isn't happening they are taking it out on the drivers. IMO John Bowe is one of the best drivers that this country has ever produced. He set that car up, did all the hard work but because it wasn't happening quickly enough they got rid of him. It was a sad day when he left DJR.
