Skaife hits track official

I have it from a good source at the track that while showboating Skaife has hit a track official. While leaving pitlane hit let a burnout go in front of the crowd but did'nt notice a official collecting cones off the track from the vb challenge.

Let see what happens about this.

Damn ... what were skaife and the official doing on the track at the same time?

Excuse me if my posts have been a bit whimsical of late ... that would be summer session depression kicking in.

That's the problem, he must have been given the green light to enter the track. So there has been a breakdown some where in comuntication to say that the track was clear.

Update is that it was during vb challenge. He was exiting pitlane and decided to light the tyres up but did'nt relise that a track marshall was still placing cones on the ground for the event. He spun the car around running over the official

Can anyone confirm this story????

I believe in Santa, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny and that HRT/KMR/TB are all seperate teams.

Its been posted elsewhere.....

And to say Skaifey was showboating,,isnt that what the VB challenge is all about, the holden and ford take turns at winning it, while throwing the cars around.... The official who allowed skaife to enter the track/ leave pit lane is at fault...

I thought he said he was a CONTROL FREAK (tm).

On a serious note, I hope the Official is okay.
