When Skaife Does It, No Fuss, Ingall Does it .....

I dont know if i am going overboard.
But, Why is it when Russell Ingall knocks Greg Murphy going into a corner and he spins out, everyone got stuck into him, but when Mr Skaife did basically the same thing, not a peep out anyone. Is it because Murphy ended up beating Skaife in the end or is it because he doesnt have a blue oval on the bonnet ???

Thats my bitch for today :)

Luke

I personally think Mark was enough up the inside of Murf for it to have been Mark's corner. Even if you don't agree with me on this. You have to agree that Ingall's hit with Murf was much, much, much worse than this one & so the penalty fit the crime!!!!

Murf & Skaife are team mates. Murf's a whinger, but he's not quite dumb enough to bag his team mate in public.

Skaife had already recieved his annual penalty earlier in the race, someone must have thought CAr 1 was a Falcon

He should have got a stop/go in my opinion.
I'm all for nudging and rubbing, and i think they should like people give each other a bit of a tap, but I think when the tappee spins out that should trigger a stop/go - unless the B-Pillar is past.

problem with that is
sometimes the car might be all out of shape, then it might brake early and get a tap, causingit to spin. Then why should the back car be penalised

i agree that the nose had the corner already, i reckon skaife shoulda got a stop/go aswell. I just dont like the double standards for holden & ford. And i realized i am not having myself on, a few of me holden lovin buddies say that holdens get away with everything !

Well i am probably gonna get my head bitten off over at v8central for saying the Murphy didn't shout and holler about it like every other round where he has had misfortune. Maybe it was the fact the HRT - Skaife knocked him out and not a ford? either that or the got told to be quiet about it? Skaife should have been pinged for it. if it was a ford they would have :(

Skaife was well past the B pillar and was even at the A pillar when Murph started closing the gap, fair enough the nudge was from behind the B pillar but Skaife was up enough to make it a racing incident.. Its when the following driver doesn't even get to the B pillar, ala Ingall in round 1, that a penalty is deserved.
