The tide has turned guys….we knocked off HSV!

Qualifying results have shown that the hard work has paid off - John Falk in the Team GT, TE50, has pole position, a first for Ford in GT Performance! Don’t you think the team is pumped!!!!

Thanks, your responses to our launch announcement have been great. Sorry it has taken the day to respond to your replies but we have obviously been very busy at the track with both cars.

Up until 3.30 Friday afternoon, the new addition, the GT, had not been anywhere near a racetrack. Essentially this weekend is being used as a shakedown and testing session. An expensive exercise, but something the team thought was needed to get an idea of where we really need to be. The GT has in fact, already exceeded our expectations for this weekend and debuting the car at QIR has given us invaluable data to help in development.

Now that qualifying is out of the way we will concentrate on putting a Ford first on the podium for the weekend and with further development of the GT have some classic formation finishes in the near future.

Excellent work. Now just remind Trevor that (despite the excellent coverage for the sponsors) we don't need a look at the underside of the GT!!

Cheers
Russ
