How come V8Supercar teams dont test at Sandown. Teams like HRO, 00, GSR/FPV are really close to the circut but they dont use it? Is there a particular reason why its not used??

I'm only guessing, but maybe because it's a horse racing track as well, and I guess the horses do track work most days.

As I said just a pure guess, I really don't have a clue

Maybe its because Sandown has no high speed corners.

I suspect that it is a combination of a number of things: (a) Noise - I recall Sandown was one of the first circuits to require certain noise limits because it is in a built up area and(b) availability it has other functions held there besides horseracing - function rooms are used for exhibits and I think advanced driver training is done there too. I also wouldn't be surprised if hire cost is a factor too.
