After watching the Sandown shootout, I started to think how dangerous it was for the cars to go out on cold tyres. These guys are trying to qualify for a race with no grip at all.
Do you think that they should be allowed to use tyre warmers to stop this problem or should they continue the way it's always been?
I have to admit, I didn't mind seeing Skaife hit the wall but is there really any need for that when there is a fix?
Or maybe they should have two warm up laps before the timed lap?

Maybe they should have "control" tyre warmers. Issued by Avesco and set to a maximum temperature.

The cheapest way to fix it would have been to allow 2 warm-up laps, under the conditions but remember it was the same for everyone & only one car failed to record a time!
