Hey Guys,
I'm not sure whether this is the right forum or not, but since it's motorsport related. You can download a copy of the V8 Supercars Race Driver 2 Demo at http://www.ausgamers.com

Unfortunately you don't get to drive the BA Falcon, you have to drive in a VY commodore (And Skaifey's. Ahh the pain!). Needless to say that on the straight you don't have the power to keep up. (Maybe it was the deliberate crashes I did the the HRT commodore. Hmmm.)

It definately looks like it's gonna be a great game to get, Even better than RD1!

My Major gripe with it though, is the pitstops. It just is a black screen, with a similar setup to the last game. (Here's me hoping for a EA F1 sim style pitstop).

Anyway I recommend that you download it, if only to get used to the physics of the game, in preparation for it's release.

I am absolutely bursting for this game... It was the whole reason my new computer HAD to have a DVD ROM drive!

Hey wait... I was just reading over the cars in the game... are they really sticking in the GT-90? That car was ugly AND slow AND a heritage killer... WTF?

, its good, i smashed murphy off the track and owned him and myself and had to retire. very fun.

I reckon the GT-90 is a pretty good effort by Ford as a supercar. I don't think it's ugly but you're right I should have been as fast as they come.

That's a bit biased hey? The last car I wanna drive is a VY HRT, but I�m glad you can smack em' into the wall this time.

I didn't think too highly of the first game but this does look a lot more polished, too bad ps2 owners won't get a play for another 6 months or so...

At least PC have a version, I can have a look on that I guess. The Worst thing I must point out about this game is that Ambrose will have the number 4 on his car!!!

The Demo is of 80% complete of the game so you maybe the ones on the codemasters site are better, if you still want some tell me and i'll take some

launched into the game at phillip island, looked realistic. so how does it go?
off the line i shoot down into turn 1 in my hrt (!) and manage to get into 3rd, with ambrose in the lead!

something not right there?

but, every corner after that, i generally made a fool of myself, overshot corners, tried to dive unsucessfully up the inside of people etc... . so as far as HRT goes, this simulation is as real as it gets!!!

btw i like it but sound is bad
