Intersting to see the Jags are off the bottom of the grid.

Hey Whats wrong with Montoya? Don't you like him because he has shown that he is one of the 2 drivers on the F1 grid that can dice with MS (the other being DC). Afraid he will start showing up Michael? - Despite the fact that the Williams is not as good a car as the Ferrari.

Montoya is a bloody good driver (please no debate on that) and within a few years he will win the drivers championship. But without doubt the best thing about Montoya is his personality! Wow imagine that an F1 driver today with a personality! (unlike Mr plastic chin)

You may not like Montoya 00 Motorsport but to come out and say "w@nker on pole in Canada" is a pretty poor effort. That lap he did it to take pole was totally awesome. He had no right to be on pole, that lap that got him there was just fantastic. To call him a w@nker is nothing more than a cheap shot. Just because you dislike him and that he is on pole is no reason to type a childish heading like that.

Its a shame you don't like Montoya because he is one hell of a fighter and he will take the fight to shumacher and win. I guess you are just going to have to get used to seeing Montoya's name at the top. Because is going to be there alot more in years to come.

Go Da Monster (Montoya) and toast head (Coultard)

On another note its good to see B-B-Q (Webber) did a great job again. 1.7s clear of Yoong and within a second of the top 10! :beerchuge

I don't like Montoya because of his personality and not because of his driving.
Even if he was racing in F1 for 10 years i still would'nt like the w@nker!!
He's still got a long way to go to be as good as a driver like Schumacher or even his teammate.
Montoya can be quick but he's still has to learn how to drive a F1 car, that's why you see him blow engines every 2 races and Ralf always brings his car to the pits in one piece.
What about the time that Montoya said that he will get Schumacher back for the incident in Brazil? That is not a true racer and one of the reasons i dislike him.
Why do you dislike Mark Skaife then? I know it's not because he's a great driver but because of his personality....true or not?
It's the same with me towards Montoya.
I'm sorry that i've upset you but i'm not going cheer for a guy that comes into F1 thinking that he's King D!ck and thinking he's better than everyone else.
Even if he drove for Ferrari i'd still dislike him.

Well thats fair enough 00 Motorsport. There is no doubt that Montoya is a pretty strong character and I guess that means that you ether like him or hate him. I can see how he can be perceved as arrogrant and sure he doesn't mind having a bit to say. Me personally, I find him less arrogrant than MS. However I guess it depends on which side of the fence you stand to your oppions on them.

However I don't think that blowing those two engines was Montoyas fault. At Monarco he was sitting behind DC and I doubt he would have been pushing the engine that much there. Its hard to blame him for that one. Last night he was pushing but rightly so. He was catching Shumacher so he had to push. Maybe it was his fault maybe it was the car. I guess it just shows that he is a racer and that he wasn't prepared to settle for 2nd position.

Also it just shows how lucky MS was, with his car blowing up in the warm up and not in the race. While MS may be the best driver out there he does have a hell of alot of luck to go with it.

Anyhow it was good to see a decent race last night with another solid 11th for Webber.

Montoya is a good driver with a much better personality than M Schumacher, much less arrogent and probably just as quick. Pity he blew his motor up, because he was flying catching schumacher by a second or more per lap. As for Skaife i havent liked him since 1992 bathurst when him and Jim Richards crashed their 4WD 4WS 600HP Nissan twice and then claimed victory when Dick Johnson and John Bowe managed to keep the Sierra 2WD 2WS 600HP off of the walls and cross the finish line, and then they don't like the Ford fans reception at the podium.

Excellent work by Webber. Very good qualifying effort, and another solid race finish. He may not be setting the F1 world on fire, but he is definitely doing everything right, and the other teams will be looking at him as a future prospect. Teams love a driver who can bring home their cars, even with technical failures, without colliding into other drivers or damaging the car with driver error.
