Yeah, would love to know HOW hybrid these times are.
Are Toyota up to something or are they on to something.
Will be great if they step up next year.
Many good drivers in many good cars.
Guys, I think I read in the Herald-Sun that webber was testing in the car that Montoya won the last race of the season in, so it's not next years car. Great effort by him to be getting used to a different machine and still keeping up with the front runners, all whilst being conservative.
WEBBER FASTEST IN WET TEST
Michelin continued its tyre testing at Barcelona on Saturday, with Mark Webber topping the times in an artificial wet test.
The Australian, in the final day of his first Williams-BMW test, was happy with the week's work. "I know there's great potential within the team," he said. "I'm relieved that this first test is now out the way and we can start working really hard over the next few months.
"Although we encountered some problems at the start of the test, we managed to work through them and resolve them quickly."
Pedro de la Rosa set the second fastest time for McLaren, just a fraction behind Webber, with Ricardo Zonta third in the Toyota. Takuma Sato ran more than 100 laps in the BAR-Honda to set the fourth fastest time, ahead of Renault tester Franck Montagny, who also ran more than 100 laps.
Formula 1 testing continues in earnest now, with a number of teams moving on to Jerez in Southern Spain for another intensive week's work.
