Is there any difference between the AU V8 supercar motor to an BA V8 supercar? Because their is a difference between the VY and VX motors.

Nothing AFAIK apart from the computer which is now controlled.

The VY got an new motor with a similar deck height and port locations to the ford items as part of project blueprint as the ford design was generally accepted to be better/more powerful.

Only a handful of VY commodores are running a different engine. HRT are still running last years engine.

Slightly off track but when are FPV going to run the new motors and any difference between them and the AU

The new FPR motors are due this month sometime and the only difference i think was that they were developed by Prodrive in the UK.

In fact the motors in the BA are the same as the motors in the EB racing Falcon. This is Holdens 3rd attempt at producing an engine to match the mighty Ford small block.

Out of interest, the Ford engine is like a Boss 302, it uses a modified Windsor racing block with Cleveland style alloy heads.
