What is going on down there?....why cant they do a deal with Prodrive? Why did Gibson leave?

I beginning to think that the teams owners have unrealistic views of the Team.

If Craig (Who is contracted to Ford and obviously subbied onto 00) goes they have nothing other than a really good paint job.

Does anyone have any goos on this?

I remember seeing three 00 motorsport cars in the results from somewhere - spreading themselves too thin maybe?

I hope they find a pleasant return to earlyform next year, they're my personal favorite Ford team.

name says it all...whoever let / made gibson leave is a moron...

but thats just my opinion. Anyway all the best to 00 next year, they are one of my favorite teams and i hope they do well.

Who sez the Prodrive deal is dead?

FPV, joint venture between Prodrive and Ford.
FPV uses 00 Motorsport cars in the background of some of their marketing material.
New BA race car has a VERY 00'ish paint job. Blue instead of black.

Coincidence?

I don't think so.

My guess? 00 -> FPR or something using the paint scheme of the BA racecar, or similar.

Get rid of Rodney Forbes and Neil Crompton. Crompton is way passed his best and nothing more than a back marker these days. Forbes just does'nt have *it*. Sign up Ingall and things should look better for next year. Turn 00 into the official Ford backed team.

Whoever said it was not just a coincedence that the new BA Supercar and the paint job of the 00 cars is too similar is right on the money I reackon.

On another note, what the hell is up with DJR? They have lost the collective plot. Many level 2 teams are putting them to shame. I'm not sure of the politics in that team, but I have a feeling that they have lost a few "key personnel" in recent times.

Stop bagging Crompton, he does a pretty good job if you ask me. Every time I watch the racing he's usually around the top 15.

We need someone at 00 that does more than "a pretty good job". Crompton's an old steer from way back. He's one of the good guys, but face it, he does not cut the mustard.

To prove this point, show me his top 5 finishes from, say, the last 5 years. I bet you can count 'em all on one hand. If you don't regularly appear in the top 5 then you aint one of the guns, unless you happen to be shafted in a dud team. His performance over at GSR was a similar story.

Paint Jobs - well a Ford designer did 00Motorsports and I'm guessing the same designer did the BA car.

Forbes ownes the franchise from what I understand so I don't see Rodney going anywhere in a hurry.

Ingall => Stone Brothers in the Caltex car.

Besnard => 00Motorsport.

Crompton => Commentator, test (setup) driver and co-driver.

FPV/Prodrive in V8's, not till 2004.

Just my 2.2c.

Crompton has been driving for years, and has never won a race.

I would like to see him win one before he retires, but I don't thik it id going to happen.
