Shell is deffinantly still there, as is Steven Johnson, Radisich on the otherhand has departed and signed with Briggs Motorsport. Max Wilson will fill his spot with Ricciardello (Ex-Sports Sedans) piloting an AU in the lights series...The Team has hired\fired alot of staff. Among the hired are some Data guys and Engine Builders from BJR.

GO DJR in 2003!

Got a letter from DJR about the next 1:18 scale Biante Model (1983 Hardies Heroes crash Greenstuf Falcon), and with it was a letter which I've scanned in part and reprinted below.

The highlighted section is the first written confirmation I've seen that the DJR Falcons are still SHELL HELIX Falcons.

This should go some way to putting that rumour to rest once and for all (I hope).

Cheers
Jason

'tis a shame that they can't spell "chequered flag" correctly.

On the radio news this morning it was suggested that Greg Ritter will get the second seat.

Ritter shot himself in the foot last year when he said how bad Johnson and Radisich were because he outqualified them at Bathurst. It will be Max Wilson, no doubt at all!

The joys of using spell checkers that only think you're correct if you use American English.

And as said above Ritter chopped himself when he bagged out Junior at the press conference - never a good thing to put shit on the boss's son when the press are there to write it down!

Cheers

I thought it was good that Ritter had a bit of a bark to the media about himself. You spend a whole year in the sheds setting up cars and then drive more maturely than the lucridly paid drivers at the biggest race of the year, why not say a few words to promote yourself?
I hope he gets a good gig this year, aren't there whispers about him driving for 00 motorsport?
If Max wilson is driving for DJR this season, the pannel beaters must be rubbing their hands and getting set for another fun packed year!!! Is there much left in the DJR 'crash-and-bash' repairs kitty?!!
