Iwas wondering if anyone knows when FPR's new engines are coming i heard they were trying to get them here before Round13 eastern creak if this true or are they just waiting for next year. if fpr can get new engines before Round13 lowndes is a serious chance they have there ba handeling good it just looses around a car length on the strait if he has more power maybe a serious chance for a round win at Eastern Creak

Also heard that they would have them at Eastern Creek. Going to the Geelong Speed Trials this weekend and if Lowdnes is there like he was last year I'll ask him.

"We now have exactly the same situation as we had at the start of the race, only exactly the opposite"

Re: When are FPR's new engines coming???

they wanted to use them in one race this year, but only if they were 100% ready
I reckon they will only use the new motor in one car tho

Re: When are FPR's new engines coming???

They have reportedly been experimenting heavily with very lightweight valvetrain components which have been causing a bit of trouble

I read in Auto Action that they were trying to get them for the last round so they had something to go on for next year

Not going in until next year kiddies...

They're getting to 4000rpm & letting go in the top end. Not enough left of the engines to determine what is exactly at fault so the search for the answers continues.....

Re: When are FPR's new engines coming???

I dont think we will hear before they run them in a race, only after.
The reason being " we will run our new engines this weekend" car die dont place or run good seen as bad publicity.
compared to " we put our 123 down to our new engines" good publicity.

I just hope they dont get the 2 out come at the next race unless Ambrose still wins the championship

I used to have an open mind but my brains kept falling out

Re: When are FPR's new engines coming???

Funnily enough, they are testing all sorts of lightweight componentry but its all banned from 2004 under project blueprint, with defined weights for pistons, conrods, flywheel and most other bits and pieces in the engine

Opportunity lost (or pissed away) or a means of sending money back to the mother country??

All is not as it appears. Trust no-one
