After watching a very predictable Hugarian GP last night with huge anticipation of a good Grand Prix beforehand, I have to say it was the worst and most unexciting race I have seen to date. I know this season has hit a low but I didn't think it was this bad. No crashes, No passes, Webber managed 11th (I think) after spining... not to mention a simple 1-2 victory for Ferrari and they wrap up the constructors after 13 races
Did anyone else have a similar opinon of this race???
I totally agree with you on that, it was the most mind numbingly boring GP I have seen in a LONG time!
I mean when I sit up and watch it, I know that the w*nker is going to win, but by that easy margin and with no other prangs or anything, it really was as boring f*ck!!
Im just waiting for next season now, as this one is well and truly over. It should be much more exciting with all the musical chairs going on!
McLaren should f*ucking pack the game in now, they really are useless!
I've never liked F1 really, and that's not about to change now.
Ahhhh someone who's only watched the Schumacher era....
Was an absolute shocker tho wasn't it, the race was literally over after 1 lap. Is anyone else is getting pissed of with the 30 minutes of Bill Woods drivel before each race making the race not finish till 1am, the races arent live so just give us the race and get on with it...
This giving us the perception that the race is live and showing updates of the last race etc etc, is getting abit much, do they think we are that stupid?
Schumacher isn't what bothers me. Just don't like the whole category in general, the cars, the way they sound, the racing itself, even when 'competetive' (ie: Schuey doesn't obliterate all) still bores me.
Only caught the last bit, got back late from Oran Park (top bloody day), sounds pretty average.
Don't be quick to focus on Ferrari, the idea it's not JUST them winning that's killing any excitement is growing on me.
Seems there aren't many yellow flags that bring the field back to a bunch anymore. How often do you see the grid rolling
around behind the safety car?
IF there is a problem they yellow flag (caution) a particular area................
Missed it, not unhappy about it.
Gonna start a new thread on the OTHER reasons F1 tends to throw up boring races. Not ignoring the Schu factor but it could well
carry on with a new Ferrari ace.
There needs to be other ways of putting on a better show than convincing the top team, with one of if not THE biggest fan bases,
to use a smaller stick on the others.
Not everyone thinks it was the worst GP ever... oh wait, here is a quote from F1-Live.com:
"The 2004 Hungarian Grand Prix was hardly a thrilling race. In fact, it was probably the dullest race in living memory."
It does go on to say though, with a good point:
"However, while the race may not be remembered for long, it was the event that saw Ferrari claim their sixth straight Constructors’ Championship."
Congratulations to Ferrari - noone has been near them this year on a consistent basis. It's history in the making - and while I cannot wait for other teams to lift their game, I can't deny the excellence of the team. Schumacher continues to push the limits, breaking the record for amount of Grand Prix won in a season with races to go.
Next year should be more interesting when the cars lose some downforce, including the rear diffuser. I cannot wait for Webber to join my favorite team and hopefully the pair can pick up the game.

How much boost?
Nah doesn't bother me,love watching hearing those F1 machines...no matter what the race is like.
Obviously dicing would be encouraged, till the other teams step up on the plate thats how it goes.
