I think it would be a good idea for Prodrive to buy SBR then we could have our own little HRO/TWR that would help in pushing up the feild it would be the best with Besnard, Seton, Lowndes, Ambrose, Ingall and Winterbottom in the konica v8s, that would kick arse!! what do you guys think? MAYBE IN A COUPLE OF YEARS?
No i personally think that SBR are doing a good enough job on their own. They seem to be able to take it to HRT and the gang without the need for Prodrive. And anyway I think prodrive have enough of their plate with establishing FPR as a major competitor. I also don't like the idea of just having 2 big teams fighting it out, i would like to see a good competition between SBR, CPR, DJR, HRO, FPR etc

No. SBR are doing a great job as they are. They're established and focused and can only get stronger as their ongoing success will attract more sponsorship and money.
Prodrive will have their hands full getting FPV established and 3 cars at the front of the grid. It'll take a while, maybe they're already concentrating on Bathurst??

I think SBR are doing well enough on their own, and I hate to say it but every Ford team, that Lowndes has been involved in has always suffered internal strife resulting in major team changes.
I really really hope that Lowndes finds stability with FPV because he will certainly be a force to be reckoned with.
What would have been better is if Prodrive held off until 2004, like they originally said...Ford could have invested the money into it's current teams - (imagine what a better funded SBR would be doing now)...and when Prodrive rocked up at the 2004 GP with a decent car (or maybe even 3 - matching of course), everyone would be blown away...
As far as Prodrive and SBR, But I'm happy with things the way they are, except for the ugly 3 'bitsa' FPR cars...
