From where I sat, if Murph hadn't blown his fuel pick-up pumps (Read in latest A/Action), or run out of fuel, or whatever, I don't really think that Dave Besnard would have got round him by the end of those laps. He was fairly going, and the car sounded fine.
A bit of bad luck really, but that the way it goes!!
It was a great day's racing, with two Holden dramas' really opening up the whole race.
I for one, am looking forward to Bathurst.
It will be a tough race as ever, and the Ford's will have a big job ahead of them regardless of what people think.
That's the way it is, until the rules change and the Ford boys get it together. Pure and simple.
They are getting there, though I think it will come down to someone getting the dream Bathurst run that crops up once in a while!!!!!!!!!!!
