rallyman Ford Focus WRC Driver. Join Date: Jun 2001 Location: Melbourne Posts: 761	[WRC] Loeb appeal dropped! Makinen, Subaru declared winners of Monte Carlo Rally. Citroen have dropped their appeal on Sebatian Loeb's time penalty (2 minutes for an illegal tyre change at a service point purely to be used for refuelling purposes) handing Tommi Makinen victory in his debut for Subaru. This also makes Tommi the most successful driver in WRC history (he was tied with Colin McRae, Carlos Sainz and Juha Kakkunen) and also a 4 time consecutive winner at Monte Carlo. Loeb drops to second with all other places remaining the same! Damn Tommi is gong to be hard to beat this year! Just let him win the first few rallies so when it comes to the gravel rounds, he can sweep the road again!!! :s2: __________________ crash navigation sig removed in memory of Possum Bourne! RIP!
