Americans need not apply, Europeans only
AutoWeek/ 11-22-02
You can't argue with the success of the Ford Focus. It's been a smash the world over, in no small part thanks to its quality driving experience. Unfortunately, arguably the best Focus to be had... can't be had, at least on these shores. The tightly packaged five-door Focus TDCi Ghia features not only cleaner lines imparted by the trimmed bumpers, but its diesel-yes, diesel-engine is simply a joy to manipulate. Sure, there's still a bit of odeur to contend with, and just a smidgen of oil-burner clatter. Small price for tremendous off-the-line performance (205 lb-ft of torque at 1900 rpm) and almost 40 mpg. Those lucky Euros.

My first car was a 67 Mustang Coupe, 2nd one was a 67 Cougar XR-7, 3rd one was a 66 Mustang Coupe. Why did I get rid of these cars for ? I know why, because I'm stupid, stupid, stupid.
