Looks like they are already at capacity and will try increasing the speed of the line:

Ford stakes out new Territory
Ford's Broadmeadows plant is ramping up production to cope with its new Territory, the Falcon-based four-wheel-drive, due next year. In a practise run recently, staff completed a record 500 Falcons (including utes, Fairlanes and LTDs) in one day. A spokeswoman says Ford is not building more Falcons or "clearing the line for Territory", but speeding up production in order to cope with both vehicles, which will be built at the same time.

"The line is being brought up to the speed we need to add Territory on top of the Falcon production," she says. Ford now produces 100,000 cars locally a year, which will be lifted to 117,000 vehicles next year.

"The line itself is the same," the spokeswoman says.

"At the moment new Falcons roll off the line every 60 seconds. When we get up to speed next year when Territory comes on line it will be a vehicle every 51 seconds."

She says the first Territories will start coming off Ford's production line in late May ready to go on sale on June 1.

Re: November Sales (03)

You can have it two way's,
High product turnover,low profit margin
or vice versa
Low turn over, high margin's, you just need to work out what is best for the product in general, come on Ford.

No the Commodore isn't really that good, it is just selling more. The Focus is really struggling at the moment...doesn't look good.

Re: AUS: A sad sales month for the Blue Oval

what month was this? hopefully the v8 supercar win might help change that in the next coming months. I think its time for ford to come up with a new strategy!
