Fanfare for Ford’s feelgood factor at Motor Show
Feelgood Ford is cock-a-hoop about record enquiries for some of its new show-stealers at the NEC.
The motoring giant is showcasing its small car range, including the new three-door Fiesta, and Street Ka cabriolet, along with the racy new Focus RS.
Key features of Ford’s huge stand are displays of the Street Ka, Ka, Fiesta and Fusion. “The whole area has been extremely busy, with lots of interest in the three door Fiesta, which is making its UK debut at the Show,” said Ford’s Derek Cockerill.
Meanwhile, queues were stretching back along the stand as visitors waited just to sit behind the wheel of an eagerly-awaited new addition to the legendary RS range, the 144 mph Focus RS.
There are a range of rally simulators for car fans to try out, including two mini Focuses for kiddies to play at being Colin McRae in, and other crowd pullers including displays on Ford’s support for football and aerial shows with jugglers and acrobats.
“We hope that people who visit our stand will have an uplifting experience with Ford,” added Derek.
My first car was a 67 Mustang Coupe, 2nd one was a 67 Cougar XR-7, 3rd one was a 66 Mustang Coupe. Why did I get rid of these cars for ? I know why, because I'm stupid, stupid, stupid.
My next Ford.....
