Ford alphabetizes vehicles
By Jim Henry
Automotive News / January 27, 2003
Ford Motor Co. is phasing in a letter-based badging scheme.
As models are replaced, sport-utility names will start with an "E" - as in Expedition, Escape and Excursion. Cars and minivans will start with an "F" - as in Focus and the upcoming Freestyle and Five Hundred.
Steve Lyons, Ford Division president, said there will be exceptions. For instance, the Mustang and Thunderbird car names will remain, and F-series pickup names will not change.

My first car was a 67 Mustang Coupe, 2nd one was a 67 Cougar XR-7, 3rd one was a 66 Mustang Coupe. Why did I get rid of these cars for ? I know why, because I'm stupid, stupid, stupid.
