Ford is introducing new customer cash incentives and low interest rate financing options on 2003 models, effective March 4 through April 2.
"Ford is building momentum and our confidence is growing," says Steve Lyons, Ford Division president. "We have strong products and great deals in Ford showrooms today, a brand-new F-150 pickup and Freestar minivan in the wings, and several major new car launches on the horizon."
This year will see the launch of the all-new 2004 F-150 pickup and Freestar minivan. Next year, Ford will introduce an all-new Mustang, the Five Hundred sedan and the Freestyle crossover vehicle.
Highlights of the new 2003 model incentive program (for qualified buyers) include:
2003 Ford Cars and Minivans
Taurus and Windstar: zero percent financing for up to 60 months or $3,000 in customer cash
Focus: zero percent financing for up to 48 months or $2,000 in customer cash (excluding Focus SVT)
Mustang: zero percent financing for up to 36 months or $1,000 in customer cash (excluding Mach 1 and SVT Cobra models)
2003 Ford SUVs
Escape: zero percent financing for up to 36 months or $1,000 in customer cash
Explorer, Explorer Sport Trac: zero percent financing for up to 48 months or $2,500 in customer cash
Expedition: 2.9 percent financing for up to 36 months or $2,000 in customer cash
2003 Ford Trucks
Ranger: zero percent financing for up to 60 months or $2,500 in customer cash
F-150 and Super Duty: zero percent financing for up to 36 months or $2,500 in customer cash (excluding SuperCrew, SVT Lightning, Harley-Davidson and 6.0-liter Power Stroke diesel models)
Econoline: zero percent financing for up to 36 months or $2,000 in customer cash
Ford also is extending a customer loyalty program, under which any customer terminating a Ford Credit Red Carpet Lease, Red Carpet Option or third-party lease contract through April 2 is eligible to receive an additional $500 to $1,500 incentive toward the purchase of a new Ford car, truck or SUV, depending on the model.
