Ford Offers Special Truck Deals
DEARBORN, Mich., Oct. 1, 2002 - Ford is kicking off its fall truck season with special savings, including 0.0% financing or increased cash rebates up to $2,000, on most 2003 Ford brand trucks and SUVs. The new incentives are available Oct. 1, 2002 through Jan. 2, 2003.
With the addition of interest-free financing on trucks and SUVs, Ford now is offering 0.0% on 36-month contracts on almost its entire lineup of 2003 Ford brand cars, trucks and SUVs. Financing rates for 48- and 60-month contracts, now at 2.9% and 3.9% respectively, also have been lowered on most models.
"Tough trucks are our heritage and what we do best," said Steve Lyons, Ford Division president. "With the attractive customer incentives, we expect a strong truck season in the fourth quarter."
To promote the campaign, Ford has partnered with singer Toby Keith to create an original score that captures Keith's love for Ford trucks and the hard-working nature of the vehicles. The national ad will debut on Monday Night Football on Oct. 7, 2002.
Interest-free financing or a $1,000 cash rebate also was added to the new Focus which already comes with a no-charge 5-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Extended Service Plan.
The Ford F-Series has been America's best-selling truck for 26 years and the Ford Explorer has been the best-selling SUV for 12 years.
For 2002 models, Ford is continuing its sell-down by offering 0.0% financing or $1,000 to $4,000 cash rebates on most remaining models.
