Does that article say that both the 4.6 and 5.4 are 3 valvers :hrm:
What about a 4 valve. (32 valve V8 would have been a good marketing tool)

3 valve is definitely SOHC. 4 valve DOHC engines are also coming, for the Tickford cars.

Looks good. I saw a post on Blue Oval News forums saying that that the 3 valve 5.4 produces at least 300 hp (225 Kw). The post was from a guy who worked in the Windsor Plant. Said the engine was a smooth as silk. He also mentioned that it had an iron block.

Sort of off topic - but over at the Aus LS1 site they reckon that the VY GTS will have 355kw. I hope Ford haven't played their hand too early.
