Huge Ford loss exceeds industry expectations

Breaking business news paints a bleak picture for Ford Motor Co. In a
candid assessment, CFO Martin Inglis admitted losses are likely to run
more than triple original industry expectations as the number two
automaker's fortunes continue to sink.

and further to this point, rumours now suggest that the JAG F1 program is under close consideration!

Their 0% finance program is hurting them pretty bad at the moment and are stopping it by Jan 1. Inglis has confirmed that Mercury will not die and that it has a strong future ahead, contrary to what everybody's been thinking.

Thumbs down No surprise since they waste so much time on gas guzzlers.

The Ford Contour was a great, comfortable car only to be discontinued. What took its place? Big, useless Excursions, Expeditions, Land Rovers, etc. Basically, garbage that decreases our highway safety for car drivers and the SUV rolled over drivers, increases our oil dependence on the volatile middle east, and increases America's pollution over our cities so we can all go to the hospital for health problems.

Ford keeps dooming themselves. The Contours are gone, the Tauras is low quality and ugly, and the whole Mercury line is a joke.

Ford needs to lead the future of transportation with low polluting, high fuel economy, and quality products, not more Super Useless Vehicles.
