JAG'S FORMULA 1 - FOR FAILURE?
If you aim at the bottom, you're less likely to be disappointed. And going
into this year's Formula One season, the British automaker, Jaguar Cars,
has held out little hope that its high-profile F1 racing team can do much
better than a back-of-the-pack finish. Designed to showcase Jaguar's
heritage and engineering prowess, the program has been hammered by a
series of soap-opera crises compounded by serious technical glitches. It's
likely to take at least two years for Jaguar to claw its way out of the
cellar - but the question is whether corporate parent, Ford Motor Co.,
will be willing to lend continuing support in light of its own cash
crisis.

the problem with jag f1 stems from PAG head huncho and his fight with the big bosses in the US. He continues to run the PAG group from england but the USA want to run it from USA, then along comes jag f1, nasser apoints rahal as boss, rietzle gets the shits and hires lauda to weed his way to the top totaly screwing over the team.

then nasser gets the boot, and the ripple effect begins, next to go is rahal, then nichols even courtney got put to 2nd test driver with very little chance of getting a drive for jag. in all this time, the team has suffered badly hence y they are where they are.

all and all the problem is with jag is ford, too many factions fighting with each other which is just ripping the team apart, the ppl i really for sorry for are the Stewarts. They poured their heart and soul into that team only for it to be ripped apart by a bunch if arseholes
