HSE2 Join Date: Feb 2001 Location: Rocklyn Posts: 7,750	Judge Okays Ford Settlements JUDGE OKAYS FORD SETTLEMENTS Ford will pay $10.6 million to settle claims of age discrimination - so said a Michigan judge on Thursday. Reuters cites the AARP, which helped some of the plaintiffs with their cases, which told the news service that Ford would pay eight primary plaintiffs as much as $100,000 each, with the remaining 425 receiving as much as $50,000. The suits were filed as Ford instituted then scrapped a performance rating system during the Nasser tenure that some employees felt discriminated against older workers.
