Good, Better, Best: Wringing More From the Aston Martin DB9

GAYDON, England โ Think it's impossible to coax any more performance from the DB9 coupe?
Aston Martin doesn't think so, and it plans to offer a new factory-fitted Sports Pack in July as proof it can still wring a few more hundredths from its superb VH platform.
The Sports Pack combines new five-spoke forged-aluminium wheels with a revised suspension for even better driving dynamics. Aston lowers the ride height by 6 mm, beefs up the front stabilizer bar, stiffens the springs and recalibrates the dampers. The result is improved steering response and better high-speed body control.
How subtle are the changes? In order to reduce every shred of unsprung weight, Aston has even gone to titanium nuts on the wheels.
What this means to you: Titanium nuts. Hee hee!
