Ford has extended a long-running contract with Dana Corporation to supply the full-perimeter frame (chassis) for the popular F-150 full-size pickup.
IN a statement Dana said the contract “is slated to continue across several iterations of the vehicle lifecycle”, allowing both Ford and its supplier to benefit from improved asset utilisation.
Dana has supplied the frame for the F-150 for over 30 years.
It also supplies the transmission oil cooler, piston rings, and various gaskets and fluid-transfer products for some versions.
