Ford offers new incentives
Natasha Robinson | Automotive News
Ford Motor Co. today offered a new round of incentives, providing leases for less than $300 a month or 0 percent financing on some 2007 models.
Ford is spotlighting the Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan sedans and F-150 pickup with the program.
Customers can lease a Fusion with a four-cylinder engine for $249 a month on a 39-month lease. The deal does not require a down payment, waives the first month's payment and has no cash due at signing.
The incentive plan for buying a Fusion offers 4.9 percent interest for 60 months plus a $1,000 cash rebate.
The lease program for a Mercury Milan offers a lower monthly payment than the Fusion, at $208, but requires $1,999 cash due upfront.
The 2007 Ford F-150 SuperCab XLT is offered at $249 a month for a 36-month lease with $1,999 due at signing. The lease offer for an F-150 SuperCrew XLT is $299 a month for a 24-month lease with $1,999 due upfront.
Ford also is offering 0 percent interest for 60 months on the Ford Escape SUV. The finance deal is offered on the Mercury Mariner SUV and includes a free "Moon and Tunes" package -- which adds a moonroof with sun shade, AM/FM radio with six-disc CD changer and four speakers, and roof rack with crossbars.
Additional incentives for returning Ford customers include rebates of $500 to $3,000.
The offers are set to expire Feb. 28.
