Ford VP Boddie leaving company

DETROIT -- Will Boddie, Ford Motor Co.'s vice president of North American engineering and senior technical officer, is leaving the company.
The company declined comment Friday, and Boddie could not be reached. But knowledgeable sources confirmed his departure.
Boddie, 60, joined Ford in 1972. He has been in his current position since Sept. 1, 2002. He oversees engineering on all North American vehicles.
During his 33-year career at Ford, Boddie also had been program manager for the 1994 Mustang and CEO of Ford of Germany.
