Ford's Super Duty pickups due for major makeover
Autos Insider
By Paul Lienert
After a substantial makeover and some modest mechanical changes for 2005, Ford Motor Co.'s Super Duty pickups, sold as the F-250 and F-350, are due for a major overhaul in model year 2007.
The big trucks will get revised sheet metal, new cabins with more amenities, upgraded suspensions and additional features. The basic design won't change radically from the current version, and will continue the "Ford tough" styling theme.
Suppliers say the new models are expected to go into production in fall 2006.
