Volvo to show C70 convertible in Frankfurt
Automotive News
Volvo's redesigned 2006 C70 retractable hardtop will arrive in U.S. showrooms next spring. The car features a three-piece retractable top that lowers and stores below the rear deck. Volvo developed the vehicle in partnership with Pininfarina. The car, which shares a platform with Volvo's S40 sedan, will be assembled at Volvo's joint venture plant in Uddevalla, Sweden. Power will be provided by a 218-hp turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-five-cylinder engine. The vehicle will be unveiled at the Frankfurt motor show in September.
