USA: Ford Voted Best Marketing Employer
Ford Motor Company has been voted Marketing Employer of the Year by its 35 strong UK marketing team, in a toughly fought contest containing many of the UK's biggest brands.
In the survey carried out by Marketing magazine and recruitment firm Stopgap, Ford scored highly in all areas including effective communication of vision, values and business objectives as well as providing a better environment for staff through areas such as work-life balance.
"Our people make us what we are," said Peter Fleet, marketing director, Ford of Britain, "we work hard to understand our employees needs and aspirations and we are very proud of our employment benefits such as job share, telecommuting and part time working arrangements."
"There is also a high degree of employee involvement in all formal and informal communication within our organization. All of our teams understand the core objectives of the primary brand as well as they understand their own individual brands."
The survey, which pooled results from 1700 employees in 236 companies, also identified Ford as the best client, as well as the number one company for community activity and work-life balance.
