1977 t-bird starting problems

a while back i posted a question about my t-bird not starting up sometimes. [see 1977 t-bird thread]. got a lot of comments back, after doing some work I still did not fix the problem. I replaced spark plugs and wires, coil + wire, distributor cap and rotor, ignition control module.. and the same thing happens. I start it up, runs for a while and then either dies, or keeps on running but when i turn it off it wont start again. I am pretty sure that this is an electrical problem, as i am getting fuel into the carburetor and during the time it does not want to start there is no spark - not at the plugs and not at the distributor. Does anybody have any further suggestions?

thanks

The only other thing I can think of in the ign module, that is if it has electronic ignition. A local auto parts store should be able to test it.
Hope that helps.

New parts doesn't mean they are good. Have them tested to be sure.
