I just purchased a 1990 Ford Thunderbird SC from the original owner, car is in good condition but the car was in storage the last 5 years and he could not find the original keypads and does not remember the door keypad code, If you lock the door with the key and then unlock it the alarm goes off and you have to unhook the battery.
How do you reset that dang thing, any help would be appreciated...
I want to say youll find the origanal door code under the hood stamped metal plate. Driver side. Thats how my wifes explorer limited is. But hers is a 2002.
Hi, this is correct; there is a small sticker or decal that has the keyless entry code on it, located in the trunk. The Explorers have the code on the module in the left 1/4 panel area. Remove the little panel inside and you can see the box. The numbers are hard to see and read. [little sticker or decal]
Howdy.. I have an 89 Thunderbird Super Coupe that I have had for 21 yrs. I forgot my door code also. I found it in the trunk on the driver side 1/4.. It is the big black box right in front & next to the fuel cutoff switch. Just unscrew the 2 plastic "bolts" and look under the big plug & it should be there on a white sticker. The sticker only had the door code on mine. Hope this helps....
