I have a '95 T-Bird with 94,000 miles I bought a year ago. It ran fine until the check engine light came on. Diagnostics gave the codes P0174, P0171, and P0173. I had my mechanic due a complete tune-up, and transmission service. The check engine light still stays on and sometimes the green O/D light comes on. What should the next step be?

P0171- Fuel system 1/1 lean
P0174- Fuel system 1/2 lean
For these two codes start with fuel pressure. It should be at least 30-35 psi. For your O/D light being on, is it flashing??? I had a 99 Mountaineer that would try to lock-up the torque converter and it would slip trying, then start flashing the O/D light until the vehicle was shut off. The local Ford dealer said to shut the O/D off, then drive it. If the light no longer flashes the O/D off switch is bad. If the light still flashes then there is an internal problem in the trans. and it needs to be removed for internal inspection.
