If the car is cold it will just shut off after running for a few seconds. Once it is warm this problem goes away.

My other problem is that the car runs too rich. PO172 PO175, both banks

I have replaced the mass air flow sensor and idle stabilizer valve. My next attempt to fix the running rich problem is new 02 sensors.

I can't figure out the stalling when cold problem. The car doesn't stall once it is warm. Is there a thermo time switch or bad ground that might cause this problem? I have checked for vac leaks and I have none.

hello there, I had the same codes last year on my car come on and i replaced the MAF sensor and the light has been off for about 1year...it came back on yesterday so im gonna guess and say either i need new o2 sensors or new Cats..

I had the cats replaced then the 02 sensors light came on had those replaced ( twice ) and the light still coms on. P0161,P0141& P0155.
97 tbird 3.8 with 142k mi.
