this motor keeps blowing the gasket off the oil filter. Have had several mechanics and manual suggest the oil pressure relief valve is sticking can anyone tell me where its located? have taken pump off front of timing housing and see gears and drive shaft to cam. thanks
Not sure also remember when you put the oil filter on to coat it with oil and to fill the filter up with some oil. If your not doing that it can cause the ring tobreak or melt to the fitting.
it on the back of the timing cover above where the oil pump bolts up... dont install it backwards you will have the same problem... while everythings off i suggest changing your oil pump you will get a new pressure relif valve with it hope this helps
