I have a 95 Bird I need to at least replace the upper manifold with the 96/97 style. I need to service the EGR valve and associated parts and would rather just replace the old buried style to the easy to reach one on the newer manifold. So, my question to the experts is, are these interchangable with little mods? Also, if I need to replace the engine, can I use a newer engine in it, like maybe the Romeo blocked 4.6?

As far as I know, you'd need obe from another 85 Bird. I havem't done any changes like that but someone may gave and will post their experience.
