What I've seen on other forums, wherever dyno sheets are portrayed, they are somewhat suspect and appear to be "unusual". Some show two horsepower curves without corresponding torque curves crossing HP at 5252 RPM and other apparent alterations.

I'm not saying that either users or the manufacturers are lying, but it takes horsepower to make horsepower with superchargers and turbochargers regardless of how they are driven.

Re: $50 electric turbo....your input

Well i bought a new tachometer. My car idles at 600-650 and when i turn the turbo on it idles at 800-850(thats what it looks like)(its not a digital after all). As soon as it stops raining so i can grip the road, i will take a vid of my acceleration. With and with-out.

Re: $50 electric turbo....your input

HAHA "Turbo V6" Thats funny

Slapping a leaf blower on your car is far from putting a REAL turbo on.

Re: $50 electric turbo....your input

$2600 for what ?

I really doubt that thing even made 2hp (at the motor).

U were better off with the cold air intake.

Re: $50 electric turbo....your input

That $2600 would be well worth it.

We pay well over $3000 for twin screw blowers for our super coupes.

I wouldn't call that crap on eBay a "turbo". U could say ur V6 is leaf blown. LOL

Re: $50 electric turbo....your input

Funny how old is now new. I put a heater motor on the top of my 4V carb on my 57
mercury. Used a dash switch to power it. You have to use a heater motor with the blower wheel. It kind of worked, maybe, i think. When it did run you can watch the black
smoke out the back and watch the gas gauge go down. You had better have your foot
to the floor before you turn it on. One thing it did do is turn the oil black very fast. Your
better off with water injection. It does work. It was used on the SpitFire to come out of a power dive in an emergency. NO2 works better. Actually does work. I used this blower
thing 45 years ago.
