I just recently been given a 85 turbo coupe with a 5.0 HO engine in it. Was this commen. I don't know much about this car and wonder if Ford did this on purpose or is it an engine swap.

From what I can tell the 85 T-Birds were equiped with one of the other of the following engines...

4 Cylinders W 2.3L FI Turbo
6 Cylinders 3 3.8L TBI
8 Cylinders F 5.0L FI

Im going to guess it a swap engine.
