88 tbird leaking coolant WHERE?!
I've got this tbird that has been using an entire resovoir of coolant every week. I notice no leaking from any hoses, water pump, welsh holes, radiator or resovior. Also the coolant doesn't seem to be gettting into the oil as it looks fine. There is also no white smoke except the usual amount in the morning. Where is the coolant GOING? So i decided that it must be the head gasket. Tonight i just removed the heads and found that the gaskets looked fine except one of the holes was not perfectly circular and kinda warped. THe head is also uneven to some degree and will need machining. Is this what has been the cause of my coolant loss? But still, i can't figure out where it is going. I'm going to remachine the heads and replace the gaskets and recheck all the hoses and other typical coolant leakage points but im not sure if this will solve my problem. thanks for any help
